With so many places to post nowadays, I've been really shameful in overlooking this blog.
So much has happened in the past several months.
For starters, we've ditched the multi-color Woody along with the dark and black persona and updated our logo and overall look to reflect the colorful, coastal personality of the brand.
We think you'll like.
We've also added more than a dozen new items. Namely, the GO COASTAL and SEABURY WHALE tees, new boardshort styles, and moved from a traditional fabric patch to a very cool stitched-down rubber applique on our caps and fleece. A real exclusive look.
And... several premier retailers are now carrying our wears! Exciting times and a thrill to be so welcomed by some of the best shops along the northeast coast -- and we've only just begun.
It's been a fantastic debut! All over the northeast, the tone logo tee and the lightweight applique' hoodies -- seriously? In summer? No joke. -- have led the way.
As fall nears, you'll see longer sleeves and more soft fleece styles (full and 1/4 zips) with even more interesting looks and appliques. We'll also be introducing flex fitted caps featuring our popular "Woody" logo in a few colorful combinations.
So keep your eyes peeled. Those and a handful of more cool (or warm) items will be available soon.
You had to be there to see Woody's first-ever day in Newport which coincided with the debut of our namesake line of apparel and accessories. Wonderful hospitality and the 15,000 strong loved the whole experience he brings. Can't wait to go back -- and get into some stores.
Island Pursuit, Potter's, Island Outfitters... we'll be knocking soon.
Another great day at the Falmouth Chamber's Annual Golf Tourney, especially as a sponsor alongside side a top-notch brand in The Black Dog.
A really long drive, rain, wind and then -- go figure -- big waves with gleaming sunshine at the Cape Cod Bay Challenge's first stand up paddle event of the season. The trucker caps designed exclusively for CCBC went over really well. Fun day all around and no doubt the start of something really cool with everyone involved with SUP and surf.
Thanks to Chick and the New England Longboard Classic for hosting Woody in Nantasket. A special thanks to Carol and Ginny at Richie's Slush for letting him park next to their busy little food trailer. The water ice was the best. Hope to be back a few more times this season.
So, off and running fast... Hope to see more and more fans this Wednesday in Boston at Dewey Square across from South Station and catch Woody this weekend at the Northeast Challenge Club Lacrosse Tournament up on the North Shore. Excited to meet more potential customers from as far away as Colorado, Maryland and Ohio.
